Welcome!

Welcome to the Medina pages...my hope is to update this site with current photos and family updates as often as I can. Not always an easy task with a one year old, 11 year old and a hubby to take care of.

Taking the oath..

Miguel was sworn in on December 19th at the LA convention center along with 6,000 others.

Noah's winter concert

We went to Noah's school for their winter recital, the kids have to chose either an instrument or be in the choir. This is Noah's last year in elementary - not sure where the time went.

San Francisco

We spent the day in San Francisco, we were total tourist and rode the cable car, at clam chowder out of a bread bowl and toured Union Square. This was Miguel's first time to the city and my first time as a tourist (mostly business trips). But we walked the streets of San Fran! We drove through Haight Ashbury and took a tour of Castro Street (via the car). For dinner I took my husband to my favorite restaurant in the bay area, Betelnut - highly recommend! We can't wait for our next trip.

Napa

The first week of December Miguel and I headed to Northern California for the weekend. I was very happy to be able to introduce my hunny to one of my favorite places in California. The weather was wonderful and we had a great time reconnecting (first trip away from Gabriel). Thank you Grandma McCarvel and Grandma & Grandpa Robles - we thank you for taking care of our little angel (LOL). We are hoping to go back sometime in 2009 - want to join us?

Annual visit to the LA Auto Show

Miguel and Gabriel share a passion for cars, so off we went to the LA Auto Show, it was a lot of fun to see Gabriel get so excited and his need to touch and sit in all the cars. BTW...the white sportscar in the picture is Gabriel's favorite.

Thanksgiving

We headed out to Moreno Valley for Thanksgiving. My sister-in-law hosted and did an wonderful job. Noah was very happy to hang out with his McCarvel cousins and Gabriel was happy to spend the day roaming the backyard. There was so much good food and the best homemade cheesecake - Thank you Grandma Lee! I always have a good time laugh with my sister-in-law(s) family.
